Organic cotton scarf handwoven and naturally dyed in Kutch, Gujarat India
 
These stunning scarves have been handwoven in the rural region of Kutch, by a small scale handweaver Haresh Manodhiya and his family and neighbours. The scarves are made with organic cotton that has been naturally dyed in India using alizarin, indigo, turmeric, rust iron and katho (using catechu seeds from the Accacia tree) and pomegranate.
 
We have purchased directly from the handweaver, at the price he chooses to represent his master craft work, enabling complete traceability
